 Imma gonna make this one real short (because LJ annoyed the heck out of me last night as the lengthy fan account I was writing suddenly got deleted and I wasn't able to recover it /breathes).

Anyway, I went to the 2ne1 concert last June 4, Saturday with my elder sister, a real Blackjack and the only YG-biased fangirl in the family (I just had to say that because she's surrounded by SME stans yet she survived). 

Some of the concert highlights include (kinda Dara-biased, because I am):
- The frontacts were unexpectedly entertaining and well-received by the crowd. The most remarkable one for me was Giselle Sanchez' monologue/skit/impersonation as Luneta Park, a half-Visayan, half-Korean honorary member of the Pinoy Blackjacks. She was so funny as she literally trolled on every single Blackjack in the Araneta. Proof? Check out the vid uploaded by a fanboy in here.
Good show, overall. Bitin nga lang.

Introduction

Ask me if I’ve been a SuJu fan for years now, and I’d honestly admit ‘no.’
Ask my friends and they’d tell you I used to comment “K-Pop? Eeeew. Don’t you dare compare,” whenever they refer to me as a fan of both J and KPop.
Ask my cousin when I accused her of being a traitor when she started exploring SNSD and Super Junior while I remained loyal to our original Johnnys fandom.
And then ask me if I consider myself a hardcore Super Junior fan, and I’d proudly say ‘yes.’

Wait. I was an anti-KPop (or rather an idontgiveashitaboutthatgenre) fan for years, a newbie in the fandom, and yet a hardcore Super Junior fan at this moment?! What in the world is this abomination?

I was one of the lucky fans who were able to catch Super Junior’s Super Show II Live in Manila, Philippines last April 10, 2010 (yesterday!). It wasn’t even a month ever since I fully accepted KPop (specifically Super Junior) into my fandom when Pulp Live Productions announced Super Show II in the Philippines on January 15, 2010. I had a seriously difficult long exam until 9pm that same day, so imagine my reaction when I found out about the concert the moment I got back to my dorm. Heck, my dormmate Col stared at me like I was crazy when I started screaming, jumping up and down and running around the dorm at 11pm. I immediately sent text messages to my cousins (I couldn’t call them because I ran out of credits at that time), and waited for their reply. They called me up and we were on the phone for freakin’ 69 minutes, celebrating and spazzing over that seemingly dreamful night. We immediately reserved tickets, hoping to get the best possible experience ever. Then there was the ticketing event and the merchandise sale. I started counting down as 3 months passed by.
